About Oak Mountain Youth Flag Football
Oak Mountain Youth Football has its own flag football league for K – 3rd grade, with K/1st playing together and 2nd/3rd playing together. Evaluations are held each year and teams are formed by a draft.
When are practices?
Practices start the beginning of August and games begin the Saturday after Labor Day and go through the end of October with playoffs and championships going thru early November. Practice schedules are determine by each grades coach and will be sent out once the draft is complete and teams have been formed.
When are games?
Games are played on Saturday mornings from 8am – 11am at our home field behind Oak Mountain High School.
How much does it cost?
Flag Registration is $160 and includes operational costs, a uniform (athletic shirt and shorts), and a registration shirt.

When are games?
Games are played on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday nights each week and the day could vary each week (Schedules are set by JSYFL and aren’t released until mid-August).
How much does it cost?
Tackle Registration is $250 and includes operational costs, helmet rental, shoulder pad rental, and a registration shirt. *Spirit pack will be required to purchase at the onsite fitting (usually less than $75) Registration opens in April each year and closes June 1st.
